Speke's Valley Cottages

Both of the cottages here overlook the garden.

They have underfloor central heating which is included in the rental during the winter months. Downstairs all floors are slate and upstairs bedrooms are fully carpeted.

For that special occasion birthday, wedding anniversary, or family get together, both cottages can be booked giving a maximum sleeping capacity of 16 in 7 bedrooms. Weekend breaks in low season from as little as £32 per head for a weekend break.

Speke's Retreat

Speke's Retreat comfortably sleeps 10-12 in 5 ensuite bedrooms.

The large kitchen has all modern conveniences including an 11 cubic foot refrigerator, separate freezer, 3 electric ovens plus grill and 8 hotplates, dishwasher and washing machine (tumble dryer available for use) and microwave.

The spacious dining room has room for 10-12 guests around the 10ft table, as well as a couple of easy chairs.

The lounge, with ample seating for all guests, with tv/dvd player, overlooks the garden and with french doors to the sun terrace with garden furniture.

There are two downstairs bedrooms: a king size double and a zip and link twin, both with en-suite shower rooms.

Up one flight of stairs to the first floor is a zip and link twin bedroom (plus plenty of room for a full size guest bed) with an en-suite spa bathroom (plus over bath shower).

Up a separate flight of stairs to the first floor there is another king size double bedroom (with en-suite shower) and another zip and link en-suite shower twin bedroom (plus plenty of room for a full size guest bed).

The three upstairs bedrooms are fully carpeted and being a barn conversion are in the eaves and have sloping ceilings.

Beds are made up to your requirements with freshly laundered white linen, towels are provided.

Aunt Nell's Cottage

Aunt Nell's Cottage sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms.

The downstairs is open plan with fully equipped kitchen (fridge-freezer, dishwasher, double oven, cooker, microwave and washing machine. A tumble dryer available.)

The lounge has a television, dvd player, video and cd player, books and videos.

Upstairs, the cottage comfortably sleeps 4 in one king size and one zip and link twin. Both bedrooms have a wash-basin and there is a second WC upstairs.

The spa bathroom with separate shower over is on the ground floor.

The cottage has underfloor central heating throughout, which comes into its own in the winter with the ground floor slate flooring.
